THE VENETIAN LAS VEGAS

COME AS YOU ARE

Las Vegas advertising often looks the same: glamorous models, luxury amenities, and polished perfection. We saw an opportunity to tell a different story.

Inspired by The Venetian's all-suite accommodations and distinctly Italian sense of comfort, we shifted the focus away from the property itself and toward the people it attracts. Come As You Are celebrated guests who weren’t trying to perform luxury, they were simply enjoying it. The campaign positioned The Venetian as a place where individuality is welcomed, making it feel less like another Las Vegas hotel and more like a destination people genuinely want to return to.

From concept development through production, I helped shape the campaign’s creative direction, collaborating on-set to craft a distinctive visual identity and extending the work across print and brand. The campaign premiered during the Olympics Opening Ceremonies and print from the scenes appeared in publications that included Vanity Fair and Food and Wine.

Challenge: Refresh The Venetian’s brand identity and differentiate it from the polished, aspirational advertising that dominates the Las Vegas luxury hospitality market.

Insight: Luxury doesn’t always have to feel exclusive. When people feel comfortable enough to be themselves, they create the most memorable experiences, and that’s exactly what keeps them coming back.

Execution: We created Come As You Are, a brand campaign that celebrated The Venetian’s eclectic guests instead of the hotel itself. Through a fresh editorial aesthetic and character-driven scenes, we positioned it as a place where everyone, from the glamorous to the unconventional, could feel completely at home.

PRINT ADS

Using left over assets from the “Come As You Are” shoot we created a pattern asset for The Venetian to be used everywhere from key cards to wall art in their hotel. The pattern was created by individually shooting each bag/item and then assembling everything in post. We collaborated with photographer Andrew B. Myers.
