Venmo

The “Blank me” came from the insight that although Venmo was already being used as a verb, we could not use it in that way in an ad campaign according to brand guidelines. Though the campaign didn’t roll out as planned, the ad buy included contextual OOH in major cities and college towns including popular bars and restaurants - all places where friends would Venmo each other. Digital ads were to run on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Spotify, and Tinder.

Aside from that, we also worked on a simple digital and social campaign around the insight that Venmo interactions are usually inside jokes between friends.
